The confirmation that Twitter is preparing an in-stream shopping service received another check mark this week, when some users noticed a payment & shipping line within settings in the company’s mobile app. It seems clear that Twitter has taken another step towards adding true e-commerce as an integral part of its social media network. In-stream shopping services lend themselves perfectly to succeed in the social and mobile commerce space without disrupting the natural stream of social and mobile activity.
